Unrivalled performance for hi-res geometry and texture capture:

Esper lighting units have been specifically designed for 3D and 4D scanning enabling improved geometry recovery as well as the generation of specular, diffuse and normal maps.

Capture 360 degrees instantaneously

Our modular framing systems can be scaled to capture data from small objects to groups of people. For human subjects we can design a 360º scanning system that can meet your budget and requirements.

Unparalleled lighting Control

The Esper MultiFlash and LightBar have been specifically designed for use in multi-camera applications. Flash duration and intensity can be controlled independently and the flash offset can be accurately controlled to allow precise synchronisation with the capture system. Lighting units can be configured with polarising filters, RGB filters or plain white.

Microsecond synchronisation

Esper lighting can be tightly synchronised allowing the use of any image sensor. When using Esper lighting video cameras with rolling shutter sensors can be utilised as if they were global shutter cameras. The accuracy of Esper lighting and triggering allows stills, video and machine vision cameras to be used in combination as a capture system.

USC / ICT Licencing

With a geodesic LightCage system it is possible to emulate the pioneering techniques originally developed by Paul Debevec and the University of Southern California Institute for Creative Technologies for generating diffuse maps, specular maps and normal maps. We can provide additional licensing to operate the LightCage in this way contact us for details.

Image Processing

Esper can also provide image processing, texture generation, 3D / 4D data recovery and custom pipelines tailored to your needs – let us know what you need to do and with our expertise and experience we can make it happen

We can design and build scanning systems to your exact requirements.
