About us
We Build Scanning Systems for Demanding Capture Work
Esper designs and builds advanced 3D and 4D scanning systems for teams that need accurate, repeatable real-world data.
Based in Nottingham, UK and supplying customers globally, we combine cameras, lighting, triggering, power, software and practical engineering into reliable capture systems for production, research and inspection environments.
Our work spans head and face scanning, body capture, object scanning, performance capture, industrial inspection and custom multi-camera systems.
Practical Engineering, Designed Around the Capture Workflow
Esper systems are designed around the full capture workflow: what needs to be captured, what data is required, how the system will be operated and how the results will move through the client’s pipeline.
From our Nottingham offices and production facility, we bring together hardware design, electronics, assembly, software development, image processing and system integration in one place.
This integrated approach allows us to move quickly from concept to prototype to finished system, supported by proprietary hardware, control software and image processing tools developed in-house. Our R&D also includes machine learning-based development where it helps improve processing quality, consistency and automation.
Built for Reliable, Repeatable Data
Every Esper system is built to capture useful, high-quality data, whether the output is a digital human, object scan, research asset, production model, inspection dataset or source data for an AI workflow.
High-quality capture should not depend on a highly specialised operator or perfect conditions. We design our systems so capture settings, lighting states, triggering and workflows can be controlled, repeated and trusted across sessions.
We also consider the practical reality of operating a scanning system, from setup, triggering and lighting control to power, cabling, safety, maintenance and ease of use.
